The old academic session has rung out, and the new has rung in. I congratulate those students who have qualified their previous semester exams and moved on to the next class. I also welcome newcomers to the sacred precincts of the college. At the outset, I extend my good wishes to them for being a part of the DAV family henceforth. I appreciate the foresightedness and the vision of the parents who have chosen KRM DAV College, Nakodar for their sons and daughters. KRM DAV College, Nakodar is a famous seat of learning in the comity of institutes spread across the Doaba belt of Punjab. It has been rendering a yeoman's service to the people of the region for fifty-four years.

This seminary of knowledge is committed to providing quality education to its students. The college imparts education—oriental and occidental—to its students. It strives hard to train its students in modern technology and different systems of education. Yet, it has not cast off the apron strings of its pristine past. It teaches noble values to its students. Holistic education of students is its key mission.

The college is also keeping pace with the emerging trends that are sweeping the realm of higher education. It is fully geared to adopt and implement revolutionary changes that NEP-2020 has proposed in its draft. Remember, the word Education has all the five vowels in its spelling. Vowels amplify a language. In the same way, education enriches life. We understand it and try to educate students in a way that makes their life better, bright and brilliant.
